I found Stephen through first tutors and have been very pleased with his teaching style and lesson planning. My daughter is doing A level Maths and Stephen identified the weak areas and helped boost her confidence. After every lesson we get a concise feedback and a thorough report on knowledge gap and progress. I would certainly recommend Stephen.

Stephen, has excellent knowledge and many useful tips for exam success. My son tells me he is patient and courteous and above all else knows his stuff!! My son is sitting an A level for an odd board so finding someone that knows what we need to know has been a god send. Thanks Stephen we may be back for my younger one too!

Stephen has supported my son through the entirety of his a-level maths and further maths. Stephen has really helped my son stay on top of the curriculums throughout and iron out tricky areas early on. Stephen responded promptly to my initial query and took time to engage with me about my son’s needs before I made my decision on choosing the right tutor. Stephen started tutoring my son in a ‘rescue’ situation after poor performance in Y12 exams and his intervention was absolutely key in ensuring that my son passed his resits and was able to transition to Y13. Stephen is kind and accommodating and has clearly structured lessons. He has many resources and questions that I've not seen before and are helping me with my A Level questions. Stephen is a confident teacher and supports me greatly. I would highly recommend him.

Stephen tutored our son for A level Maths and Further Maths. He found Stephen to be an engaging tutor who would adapt his approach to the problem at hand until he had fully grasped the theory and could consistently apply it. Stephen was always punctual and looked to plan ahead for the following session by keeping track of the syllabus plan and providing additional material to complement this. My son would highly recommend Stephen.

Stephen has been very helpful towards preparing my son for his exams. He needed targeted tutoring and Stephen provided that, enabling him to cover more content in less time.

My daughter has been working with Stephen on Physics A level topics for a few weeks now ahead of end of year exams. The format is to mostly cover exam questions and talk through the answers. Its like having a really smart friend who has done it all before and who is independent of school! She really benefits from the specific help on how to best answer questions to extract the most marks by using the right wording etc. It has really helped structure her revision too. In her last 2 test she has got A*s so its definitely helping. Look forward to working with Stephen over the next year to support her learning and preparations for exams in Physics, Maths and Further Maths as she looks to maximize her results to apply to her preferred universities.

Three of us have worked with Stephen this year on various combinations of A’Level Maths and A’Level Further Maths… He provides in depth, productive, enjoyable sessions on whichever topics you require. Stephen has been brilliant in supporting Fred with his A Level retakes. We are half way through the revision timetable, and so far I am extremely happy.

He is an excellent tutor who is always organised for lessons but also flexible to adapt to any current topics my son is struggling with that week. We had hoped for in person lessons but Stephen was too busy, but I have to say that the online lessons are working out extremely well and my son is more than happy with the arrangement. Steven tutored my son Samuel during the last six weeks of his A-level maths exams preparation and revision. Both Samuel and I were exceptionally impressed by Steven. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and well informed and an excellent tutor.
