Information about Steve [ edit ]I am a first class honours graduate with more than 20 years teaching experience specialising in chemistry and physics. I also spent many years working as an analytical chemist in the chemical industry. The mixture of subjects I studied at undergraduate level has given me an excellent grounding for teaching and tutoring A level chemistry and physics.
I have also had a passion for pure maths all my adult life, and have studied maths at degree level. I offer A level maths tuition in the core and further pure modules of the course. I may consider tutoring the mechanics modlules, but NOT statistics or decision maths.
I am also happy to help undergraduates with 1st year chemistry, or undergrads taking subsidiary chemistry, physics or maths courses.
I have been tutoring full time sine 2010

I like to work on a student's understanding of the subject. The more they understand, the more confidence they have in exams. I have a student lead approach and like to work on a student's weaknesses. Exam practice always helps (at the appropriate time).
