My son's school teacher advised that my son's understanding of Further Maths has increased immensely since being tutored by Steve. And he is on target to achieve an A grade this year which should get him into his first university choice. My son has found Steve very helpful and easy to follow and we have no hesitation in recommending his services. Thank you.

So far, both my children, studying GCSEs have engaged in lessons and find Steve explains math problems easily so they can understand.

Steve is a fantastic tutor. He has really helped our son with his GCSE maths. Steve not only helped him with the areas he was struggling with, and with exam preparation, he also helped build our son's confidence in maths and encouraged him to believe in himself. Our son enjoyed his sessions with Steve so much, he said he was really going to miss them - something I didnt think i would ever hear him say about maths. Thank you for everything Steve!

Steve tutored my son this year for his A2 maths. We found him very easy to get in touch with, arranged a suitable time for lessons easily and always reliable. I weekly took maths lesson with Steve for roughly 5 months to pass the GCSE exam with at least grade 6, the one necessary for the uni. My result went beyond my expectations. I got grade 7.

I highly recommend Steve for 3 main reasons :

- maths was my nightmare during all my previous studies, but thanks to the his way of teaching, it has become a very interesting topic for me.

- after each lesson, all my questions were answered. This gave me the possibility to improve day - by - day, rather than having some questions unsolved. I would like to emphasize this aspect because Steve was the only one who could do so. Many other tutors left me really unsatisfied.

- the third aspect which differentiates Steve from other tutors was his trustworthiness in terms of commitments. More precisely, we took each lesson as we planned together.

Steve raised my grade from in A level maths from a U to a C just 2 months before the exam! Methodical and Patient approach

Many thanks for your excellent work with Richard. As you are aware his severe dyscalculia and dyslexia present him with a considerable disadvantage in his Maths studies and exams. He has made excellent progress and his confidence has grown enormously since you have been tutoring him. You have presented him with alternative methods of working and focused his way of studying a subject he has particular difficulty with. We have no doubt that even with your comparatively limited time with Richard you have exceeded what his school have been able to offer. Thank you also for your great flexibility in working around Richard's timetable. We would highly recommend you to any other students/parents requiring a maths tutor.

Steve has been helping my son just over a year for further maths GCSE. He has been professional, efficient, punctual and very pleasant. My son's progress is as planned and he always looks forward to the new lesson with Steve. I would recommend him with no reservation.

Steve helped me study for my A Level maths resits and I couldn't be more pleased! Steve was patient and has a very good way of explaining things (much better than my college teachers!) and I now have the grades I need to get into uni. I would highly recommend Steve as a tutor.

Steve is a great Maths tutor, and my daughter has more understanding of the subject after 5 lessons with Steve, than she did after 5 months with her previous tutor. He has been able to work out where the gaps in her knowledge are, and fill them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Steve to anyone else needing a tutor.

My son has been seeing Steve weekly now for about a term and it's really helped his confidence in maths at A level. Steve is very flexible and works around my sons timetable. I had Steve for my son in summer holiday to prepare him for A level and he was very good and encouraged him which gave him confidencs but unfortunately my sons decided later that he wanted to do other subjects. If he continued with math I would have had Steve whole year. I highly recommend him for good maths teacher.

Steve has been extremely helpful and committed to tutoring my daughter A-Level Maths twice a week for the past 4 months. He has built her confidence and has guided her through any particular problems she has been struggling with. She now feels ready for her exams and we have been really grateful for Steve's knowledge, commitment and flexibility.

Steve has been reliable and very helpful in aiding me week by week to understand the areas of the AS curriculum that I am struggling with. We work in the way I want to, covering topics that I choose at my pace, quietly explaining my errors etc. He is giving me confidence to trust my work and judgement, which is half the battle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others of all ages.

Steve was an excellent tutor for my son in his preparation for the Maths GCSE this year, and raised his grade beyond the level predicted by the school.

My daughter is only on to lesson three so far, however everything is going well and Steve seems to be restoring her confidence. I am hopeful that with his continued support she will do well in her AS maths exam.

Steve did really well preparing my daughter for her AS exam. He quickly assessed her ability and identified some gaps. As a result of Steve's tutoring she felt prepared for the exam and it gave her a boost of confidence. Steve was very polite and always on time.
