Hi, I'm Suhani! I am currently a law student at the University of Warwick and I studied Economics, Maths and History at A-Levels and went on to achieve A*AB, respectively. My own exams weren't that long ago so I have a solid and fresh understanding of the potential questions and topics presented in the current GCSE and A-level exams. I believe I can bring a new and innovative approach to tutoring that will encourage and promote learning for the students. Furthermore, as a student who has recently experienced exam stress, I believe I am able to empathise and understand the feelings that students may be experiencing. I enjoy tutoring students and building new relationships, and I promise to work as hard as I can with my new students.
Additionally, I am always happy to help with other aspects of sixth form which I have been through that may be challenging: personal statements, university applications, university life, careers in general or specific to law!

Tutoring Approach

Through my tutoring experience I have helped a wide variety of students reach their goals through my provision of lessons customised to their academic requirements. My approach and target for lessons is to engage and help students to become independent learners so they can tackle any content in the future. My lesson plan usually involves revising the content in detail in order for the student to learn from first principles. This is followed up by plenty of exam questions for the student to acclimatise to an exam-style environment while coaching them on how to answer exam questions.
My ultimate goal has always been to avoid making the student feel like the lessons are a burden for them. I aim to have a formal yet partially informal attitude with them so they can achieve their academic goals yet stay engaged throughout. I like to plan the lessons keeping in mind every student’s individual likes and dislikes while making it as interactive as possible.
