Sukenna

Hi there! I'm Sukenna and I live in Coulsdon London. I have a degree in BSc Psychology and a Masters in Health Psychology. I have a strong understanding of Biology, Maths, English, Religious Studies, Phillosophy and Psychology. I am very passionate about Psychology and have acquired 7 years of tutoring experience.

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years of experience in tutoring young children at a respected tuition centre from ages 7 to 18 tutoring Maths, English, Science and Psychology. I also have 4 years of experience in private tutoring in Religious Studies and Psychology and 7 years teaching primary ages Maths and English. I also have some specific experience with children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism and language disorders.

Tutoring Approach

My style of teaching is very adaptive as I use a person centred approach and ensure that learning is engaging, fun and not tedious. I believe every individual is different and so it is important to use a diverse range of techniques. Using a wide range of learning techniques such as visual materials, interactive games, reading and even simple pen and paper tasks in order to achieve attainable goals and to ensure that progressive learning is occurring. I look forward to working with students to help them develop skills and push them with the best of my ability in order for them to progress successfully through their academic studies.
