My name is Tanya and I am 49 years of age. I am married with two sons aged 18 and 15. I love teaching children and seeing their learning progress. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2020.
My hobbies are cycling and reading.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in year 3 (aged 7-8) for the past two years, I also teach year 5 French regularly. I have a keen interest in languages and teaching Spanish to all primary year groups once a week in an after school club.
I am qualified to teach children aged 7 to 11.

Tutoring Approach

I have a calm manner and like to appeal to children's interests and hobbies in order to ensure that their learning is memorable, meaningful and goes into their long term memory. This also includes revisiting previous knowledge and retrieval of information by questioning and quizzing.
