Muhammed Thariq

I am an Aerospace engineering student at a top Russel Group university and a professional tutor, with over 4 years of tutoring experience. I have achieved excellent grades in both A-levels and GCSEs. I work with schools as a tutor and a mentor. I have also completed my tutor training with the National Tutoring Programme, Education Development Trust.

On top of my academic experience, I can support students with entrance exam practice, UCAS applications and much more. I have participated in many academic competitions (such as Cyber Centurion), work placement programmes and summer schools, which means I will be able to help you be the best version of yourself by guiding you to the right resources through interactive planned sessions.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in secondary schools and sixth forms previously as a tutor , I have also been privately tutoring for over 4 years and I have helped countless students achieve top grades in GCSEs and A-levels. I also work with my university to provide mentoring and tutoring sessions to younger students.

I am also a STEM Ambassador, which means I visit many schools regularly to provide them with mentoring sessions, STEM talks and much more. Teaching and tutoring means more than a profession to me.

Tutoring Approach

Being a student and a professional tutor simultaneously, I am able to cater to the needs of a student. I can give them excellent tailored tutoring sessions and provide them with resources, questions, revision techniques and guidance. I have thorough understanding of the specifications, which will allow me to provide the most useful and effective tutoring for you to achieve the best grades.

I use online whiteboards and simulations to make teaching more visual, I have all the right resources for this. On top of official textbooks and specifications, I use my personal notes and revision material throughout our sessions to break down complex topics into smaller understandable fragments.

I am also very flexible and my students can message/email me whenever they require to get further assistance in a short space of time.
