Hello! My name is Theepiga and I have been tutoring some family friends for over three years. I am currently studying medicine at university but have a passion for teaching therefore I also tutor in my spare time. In addition to this I also love baking, spending time with my cousins and watching lots of netflix.
I have been tutoring friends and family since high school, however I started tutoring professionally during A Levels. I mostly teach GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology, but I can also help with subjects like Spanish and English. My clients have always spoken positively about what they gain from my classes and this is reflected in their grades. I also offer extra classes coming up to exams.
I generally start of the session with revision questions to recap what was learnt in the previous class. These are typically worded as they would appear in an exam for GCSE students. Then I focus on one or two topics for the rest of the class. These topics are previously arranged with the student/parent so that I can help the students specifically with what they need. I like to tailor my teaching in a way that suits the student. I tend to draw a lot of diagrams to explain concepts and like to reference youtube videos that summarise topics so that students can go over them at home. I did my GCSEs not too long ago and I know how difficult they can be! I believe that I can support your child in the best way so that they are prepared for the next school year.
