I am a committed and enthusiastic tutor with 10 years teaching experience in a variety of different schools for a range of students with specific needs. During this time I have taught and built the confidence of a hundreds of students in their science knowledge, enabling them with the skills required to meet and exceed their predicted grades.
Since 2013 I have gained 10 years teaching experience in not only mainstream settings, but also alternative and specialist provisions, giving me extensive experience of meeting the needs for students with individual needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD and SEMH. I have experience of teaching GCSE, IGCSE and BTEC Firsts in Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics following both the AQA and Edexcel awarding bodies. Throughout my teaching career I have also consistently taught science to KS3 groups, giving me an in-depth knowledge of the KS3 curriculum.
I have a dynamic and innovative approach to teaching, taking the time to prepare each lesson and meet the individual needs of each of my students, ensuring they are able to access the content in a method which suits them.
