My name is Thomas Removed I come from a very underprivileged background with little access to quality education, with my high school receiving OFSTED reports of unsatisfactory for multiple running years. As a result, I had to learn effective methods for self-study, and have a unique perspective on both logical and visual-based subjects. By doing this, I am now studying my favourite subject at one of the top universities in the country. My goal alongside pursuing a career in Tech, is to give back to other students who may struggle with lack of access or ineffective teaching strategies for them, so that they can receive great results and strive for academic excellence.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in teaching GCSE-level and A-level Mathematics, and have been doing so (hybrid fashion - some in person, some online) for 6 months. This includes both supplementary learning to the students main lessons and preparation for final exams.

Tutoring Approach

I want to replace the traditional approach to teaching abstract subjects such as Maths and Computer Science, with a visual and concept-based method. Instead of rote memorising formulae and methods, students will be taught how to understand and solve problems intuitively. This will allow them to perform well in STEM-based subjects both at their current level and with future pursuits.
