I am a passionate mathematician, taking a year out before heading for university. I am happy to work with learners of any ability and will work with you to help you get to where you want to be. I have an enhanced DBS clearance.
Tutoring Experience
From July-October 2024 I worked as a Junior instructor at Mathnasium, helping children aged 4-16 to learn maths, record their progress and feedback to parents. I can help with primary maths and GCSE (maths and further maths) and A Level Maths.
Tutoring Approach
My approach is start with what the learner already knows and build confidence from there. With maths there are always several ways to solve a puzzle and so I will explore whichever seem most accessible to the learner first, before also helping them discover alternative ways. I can work with homework exercises, Corbett maths, or whichever resources are best suited to you.
