I am a Maths grad with a First Class Master's degree from the University of Warwick. In my spare time from my consulting job in London, I am a keen cyclist and climber, and am always looking for the next adventure.
Since the age of 16 I have been tutoring informally for ages 8-18, and while in my final year at Warwick I worked as a Supervisor for a group of five first year maths students, helping them with their initial steps into undergraduate mathematics.
While I have an intense passion and enthusiasm for mathematics, my approach to tutoring relaxed and open; I prefer to hear from students what their problems are and then work together to find novel ways of understanding them. I would describe myself as a guide, not an instructor, and I put emphasis on gaining a deeper understanding of mathematics when approaching problems. A student with questions is in a much stronger position to learn than a student with only answers.
