I am a graduate of a 2:1 BA Hons Geography and Town Planning degree from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Geography from the University of Sheffield. I then spent 7 years teaching Geography in an academically selective top HMC Independent School before moving to a top Independent International School.
I am the educational lead at Time for Geography who develop Geographical videos specifically for the GCSE/IGCSE/A Level/IA Level Geography courses.
I have also written a number of articles for the TES (Times Education Supplement) as well as being an educational blogger featuring on a number of educational websites.
I am also a marker for a leading exam board and specialise in being able to identify poor exam techniques and also how to help students to achieve top grades.
I am currently working in a top International Independent School Head of Geography.
I am a highly-skilled practitioner with excellent subject knowledge and have a proven track record of outstanding GCSE and A Level results. I have helped many students secure the grade that they need in Geography. Many of my students go on to top Universities to study Geography.
I provide tuition for Edexcel, AQA OCR and WJEC Geography specifications both for GCSE, IGCSE and both AS and A2.
I am excellent at developing exam technique and boosting student confidence and exam performance.
I am able to provide all past papers, mark schemes and additional resources if required.
I provide online tuition where past papers and other resources can be emailed to students 24 hours before the tutoring session begins.
