I am a qualified and passionate academic, having spent around six years studying at working around students and academia. I am passionate about learning and education, and I love to explore the links between subjects, believing that having a holistic understanding and appreciation for a wide range of knowledge bolsters individual subjects. I have a passion for the sciences, maths, music, philosophy and languages.
“Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and that's okay. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.” ― Richard P. Feynman
I am an experienced tutor with over 4 years worth of working with A-Level, GCSE, and University students, having tutored over 800 lessons. I have a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Warwick, and a Masters degree in the Philosophy of Physics from Bristol University.
I am firm believer that getting top marks in exams, and being able to actually appreciate the subject matter, need not be two separate activities when it comes to learning!
I aim to work through the core subject matter with students, to ensure that you have a firm understanding of the concepts rather then just memorising equations and facts. From there I like to work through problems and exam style questions to test and push your understanding.
