Timothy has been absolutely fantastic in helping my son revise and prepare for his forthcoming Latin exams. I feel fully confident that he is thorough in ensuring my son has covered and understood all subject matter in the curriculum. Most importantly, my son is engaged and looks forward to his sessions- I can highly recommend Timothy.

Timothy is accommodating, intelligent and enthusiastic and my daughter has enjoyed her lessons with him so far.

She particularly likes the way Tim gives her instruction on how to approach Latin unseen translations, an essential skill to master before her A level next year. However as Tim’s knowledge is extensive, she is confident she could ask him about anything else and he would be able to help her.

Tim was a huge confidence boost for my son’s preparation for A level OCR Classics (a new paper). They devised a targeted focused path and challenged through debate. My son thoroughly enjoyed these sessions and looked forward to them. I found Tim professional and a great communicator. Every session was hugely enjoyable and I sure Oliver will be staying in touch. Highly recommended.

Tim is an amazing tutor! Tim has outstanding subject knowledge and he knows how to share this knowledge in a relaxed yet enthusiastic manner. My daughter was in a state of panic the spring before her Latin GCSE exams but Tim quickly assessed her areas of weakness and then systematically worked with her to build her knowledge andskills. The moment my daughter sat down to work with Tim she knew that she was going to be okay and that she was in safe hands. Tim supported her in realising that she could get the high level mark she wanted to achieve in her exams by focusing during the lessons with him and by doing the targeted revision he set her. Tim also made her laugh and remember why she wanted to study Latin in the first place. Tim's passion and knowledge of his subject, he has a Classics Degree from Oxford, is extraordinary. I can't recommend him highly enough. My daughter is waiting for her results and she feels she will get her A* but for me it doesn't really matter. What matters is that she has been so positively influenced by a genuine teacher who has shared with her his passion subject and for learning.

He is a very polite and enthusiastic tutor. My son enjoy well to study with him.

My son has had two tutorials with Tim so far and we are very happy with him. He is extremely personable, and has always been punctual. My son has really been enjoying his sessions with him.
