Tori

Hi, my name is Tori and I am an A level PE teacher. I have large amounts of sports science / PE knowledge as I also completed A Level PE in college. I then went on to achieve my First Class honours degree in Sport and Physical Education. Following this I then completed my PGCE within the PE department of a local college and started as an A Level teacher immediately after.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching A Level PE since 2022 and have vast knowledge in the fields of: Skill Acquisition, Anatomy & Physiology, Sport Psychology, Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. I have experience on the AQA and OCR specifications.

Tutoring Approach

I am a very approachable teacher and I have been commended on the quality of my lessons and how I deliver content. I use worked examples to ensure understanding, consolidate and test knowledge using exam questions multiple times a lesson and I also use dual coding to break down larger chunks of information.

In regards to sporting examples I relate them to students own interests and the sports they enjoy whilst also introducing them to new ideas and using videos and pictures to help introduce these.
