Hello!

I'm Tristan. I am a masters student at the University of Bristol, with a background in Hispanic Studies and years of experience working as a private tutor and in schools as a teaching assistant.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a private tutor and in schools since 2019, helping students in both Spain and Austria.

Tutoring Approach

The fundamentals expected in any exam come first and foremost. Exams ultimately demonstrate and prove your level, being fantastic additions to CVs and university applications.

However, we will learn through a variety of methods, not only textbook and classrooms exercises. I believe that language acquisition follows the same principles as when we were small children – we experience, we listen and we copy. This makes things interesting, since it introduces searching for materials that individual students find interesting to immerse them in content they not only find interesting but also improves their language level. It is important to find a means of maintaining an interest while sticking through the hard stuff too!
