Ursula is very calm and patient with my anxious daughter. She has made good progress, is becoming more confident and is enjoying the lessons.

Ursula helped our daughter through AQA GCSE Maths. Helped to build her confidence and reinforce content. Happy with GCSE result and would recommend Ursula for other students going in to GCSE Maths.

My son is yet to have his first Maths lesson with Ursula, however the process was easy and Ursula's communication regarding what she could offer and the booking of the lesson was excellent.

Ursula has been working with my daughter for a few months now. During this time my daughter's confidence has grown noticeably and she has started doing a lot better in maths at school. Ursula successfully fills the gaps in my daughters understanding and covers age appropriate topics at the required levels so sometimes she is also teaching skills/ knowledge that has not been covered at school (for whatever reason). My daughter looks forward to her maths tuition and always comes away smiling. She says that she likes the way Ursula explains things to her. I feel that we are very lucky to have discovered Ursula. Her knowledge of what needs to be taught and bank of resources are also great. She sends the work on ahead of the lessons so that anything that needs photocopying can be prepared in advance and communicates well so that she is able to match her work with the topics being taught at school. Being an experienced teacher myself, I know that I can recommend Ursula with full confidence to anyone else looking for maths tuition.

Ursula is very friendly but still commands an authority over my grandson that he respects. She works with him to find out what he needs most support in, brings relevant work sheets, explains "how to" in easy to understand terms and has been a great additional resource as exams loomed. She is always on time and very student focussed. Thank you Ursula - exam results not know yet but will keep you informed. ps my grandson is 12 (year 7) just to give you an idea of how well Ursula works with this age.

Ursula is a really lovely and professional tutor. She has helped my daughter a lot and every lesson is clear and concise for her, she enjoys the tutorial. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ursula for tutorials.

Ursula has been offering maths tutoring for my daughter in
Year 11. Ursula initially made an assessment of my daughter’s needs/level and has supported her to work on specific areas she had found difficult. Ursula always prepares for the lesson in advance and sends worksheets the day before the lesson. My daughter has grown in confidence and has learnt a great deal.

Very happy with Ursula as a tutor for my daughter doing GCSE maths. Ursula took the time to understand where areas of weakness where before setting out a programme of work.
