I am a PGCE qualified teacher with subject specific qualifications in both English (BA lit, ESOL specialism, DELTA) and French. I am a CELTA certified teacher trainer and an assessor for the current awarding bodies e.g. Pearson.

Tutoring Experience

I have 20 years of tutoring experience tutoring students in the UK of ages ranging school, university and adult/casual learners. I am an expert in preparing students for GCSE, IGCSE, and A- level French and English

Tutoring Approach

Initially having a discussion with the student about their starting points, areas of interest, what engages them most whilst learning and an initial assessment. Carrying out a similar discussion with the parent/guardian for further information. Lessons are online, interactive, contextualised tailor made to suit the student’s needs and to help then make progress against their school/programme outcomes. Cultural nuance, Exam prep and exam strategies embedded with attention to both accuracy and fluency. Marked work and feedback & progress reports available depending on tuition package.
