I am a current Electronic and Electrical Engineering student, passionate about maths and physics, taking these subjects during my A-levels. Through tutoring, I hope to enhance my learning, providing the students with a safe and interactive lesson space for them to ask questions and queries. I enjoy problem-solving and logically thinking through questions and problems while also looking for different routes to find the answers. However, my main goal will be to provide my students with ample support and answer any difficulties that they may face in their learning.
I had previously tutored on MyTutor, so I understand the general technique to tutoring, as well as what resources are necessary to teach and help the student retain information better. I have also been interning with the Northern Powergrid, a Power Engineering Company, so I am also aware of how my theory will be used in real work outside of the classroom. I was first inspired to do tutoring through my tutor, who showed me that tutoring also helps you sharpen up your knowledge while explaining the content to students. Through this I hope to help my students push through their problems and provide adequate answers and responses to their questions.
My main approach to tutoring is to practice and work on exam techniques. I understand that no two students are the same and that various people look at studying in different ways, but to me, the two core concepts are these. For me, I struggled with these aspects of my studies, so I hope to help my student master their subjects and get the marks they are looking for.
