Hello Future Student!

I’m Vinnie, a professional musician, educator, and all-around creative enthusiast who lives and breathes music, creativity, and education. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from all walks of life and ages, helping them connect with music in meaningful ways.

As an artist (STERGIN), I was honoured with the prestigious ‘Do It Differently Award’ from Help Musicians UK, and my projects have received support from Arts Council England. My commissions include creating a piece for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and other exciting multimedia projects.

BBC6 Music's Dave Gilyeat says "One of the most inventive musicians". I perform with my band, Shiny Brain Crayons, and have been lead creative at InHouse Records, a social enterprise empowering young offenders through music. I hold a BA in Music Education (Mozarteum Salzburg) and an MA in Music Composition (Trinity College of Music, London).

What makes my lessons unique?

I’ve developed the Mindful Teaching Method, a one-of-a-kind approach that combines meditation with music lessons (I teach this way mainly with my adult/young adult students not so much with children).

This method helps you:

• Build confidence and overcome creative blocks.
• Foster a deeper connection with yourself, your instrument and music.
• Learn in a calm, fun, and supportive environment.

We start our session with a short meditation and then explore music!
