I am a passionate and caring person. I genuinely enjoy teaching and also adore the subject of English. I obviously love reading, but I have also written my own novel which will be published online soon. I am 48, married and love greyhounds! I am also the singer/songwriter for a local band who record and play live.
Tutoring Experience
I am a highly qualified and experienced secondary school teacher of 12 years. My results were outstanding across all ability levels. I now work as a home tutor fr my local council. This involves 2 hour lessons in the home plus 3 hour sessions in a Tuition Centre. I also teach adults and children Creative Writing 4 hours a week. The adult group has already published an online novel through Amazon.
Tutoring Approach
I have a caring, calm, good humoured and measured approach to teaching. This is based around building a trusting relationship. Once this is in place, anything is possible and achievable.
