My daughter had about 12 hrs tuition with Wendy just prior to sitting her GCSEs. She improved by 3 grades in English Lit and 2 grades in English language. Wendy was very supportive and we would recommend her. Thanks

I can not recommend Wendy enough for anybody serious about improving their French. My son has just received a 9 for GCSE French, when 2 years ago he was being predicted a 3. This massive change was of course in conjunction with his school lessons, however the weekly tutorial with Wendy made a massive difference in his French ability and confidence. I am 100% sure a 9 would not have been possible without Wendy's excellent tuition.

Wendy provides an outstanding service. Her lessons were bespoke and tailored specifically to what my son required. The delivery of the lessons on zoom is very professional. Wendy was able to give my son targeted feedback and support which really helped my child focus and develop. I highly recommend her.

Wendy has been instrumental in building confidence and ability within English and Spanish at GCSE in our daughter over the past 9 months. We were looking for a tutor to support our 14 year old daughter (her school complete this exam a year early)on the run up to her taking her gcse English Literature. She lacked confidence and structure and was procrastinating when it came to revision. We booked ten sessions with Wendy which made all the difference. Our daughter gained a level 7 (2 marks off an 8) and we were were all extremely pleased. We will definitely use Wendy again for my daughter when she does her other subjects and my son in a couple of years. Wendy has a lovely approach and my daughter worked well with her, I would definitely recommend her.

Lovely personality and very good teacher…

I have recently used Wendy as a tutor in order to pass an english qts test. I cannot fault her knowledge or skills which she has willingly passed on to me which meant i was able to pass the test. Thank you Wendy for all your help and suplort

Wendy was very straight forward and efficient to deal with. She understood exactly what our very specific requirements were and acted on them immediately and accordingly with no wasted time. The lessons were expensive but because off the above I think they were worth every penny. She was also flexible to a point when we needed to miss/swap lessons which was very helpful at a busy time of year. The only reason I have not given a rating of 5 is because I never knew what happened in the lessons or whether my daughter improved as she has not had her results yet. My only tiny comment is that it would've been nice to get some feedback about how she was getting on in the lessons and with the homework that was set, and whether Wendy saw an improvement. It felt a little impersonal in this regard. generally excellent, thanks.

I am delighted with Wendy's easy and relaxed approach to tutoring my 12 yr old who is beginning to enjoy his on-line lessons with her. Although it is early days, I am confident that Wendy's approach to tutoring my son will translate to him enjoying English and obtaining good grades; I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Wendy to tutor English for all ages

Wendy is easy to talk to and always well prepared. We move along at a pace suited to my needs and I feel that I am progressing well. I am an adult learner (beginner) and have just booked my second block of lessons. Could not recommend Wendy more highly to other potential students.
