Ever since age of 13 I have realized how important role a teacher plays in a person's life. I have been led by this belief and become what I am today. I taught English as a second language to Secondary School students in China for three years. Later I worked as interpreter for Chinese Medicine Doctors in the UK.

In 2017, I became a Certified TDR Mandarin Teacher at Meridian Chinese Studies;

I am certified in completing The Art Of Teaching Foreign Languages To Young Learners course in 2017.

I am passionate about teaching and willing to give the best to my students and see them grow---to become what they want to be. It is such a wonderful and fulfilling experience which I enjoy most.

Tutoring Experience

Seven years experience in teaching Mandarin to primary school children face to face and online;

Seven years of home tuition experience in teaching Mandarin to children aged from 5 to 12;

Three years experience in teaching general Mandarin and GCSE Mandarin ( simplified and traditional) to secondary school students age from 11 to 16;

Six years of teaching Mandarin to complete adult beginners in person;

For primary school students learning, a good relationship is vital. Quickly building up a positive relationship is my strength. Alongside the good teaching techniques, children will enjoy their learning time throughout the lesson!

For secondary school students and GCSE pupils, building a trust and helping them build their confidence is very important. Everyone is different, I will help them achieve their own goals in every aspect.

For adults, combination of effective repetition of listening, speaking, reading and writing through different activities. TPR TECHNIQUES will be used to present the words in different situations to enhance their engagement.
