Farhat Yasmeen

I am a highly experienced tutor of 11+ exams and have been tutoring since 2003. I graduated from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine with an Honours degree in Biochemistry. I also have a PGCE in Secondary Science from Kingston University.

Tutoring Experience

Although I qualified as a Secondary Science Teacher I have realised that my passion is teaching children at the Primary Level and especially in boosting their Literacy, Numeracy and Science skills. My experience in schools, 11+ tutoring, and teaching my own children to read has allowed me to build up the skills necessary to do this. I have 17 years experience in tutoring children for 11+ exams to enter London Grammar Schools such as Henrietta Barnett and Maidstone Grammar School as well as various private schools.

Tutoring Approach

I am an organised, motivated and conscientious individual who is dedicated to enabling children to develop their optimum abilities according to their age, ability and aptitude. I have a lot of experience in teaching Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths in preparation for 11+ and catering lessons according to the child's individual needs. I am also available to teach Biology, Chemistry and English at Secondary School Level.
