I am just coming to the end of my PhD, which has been on the subject of antibiotic resistance. I am now working as a laboratory scientist in infectious disease research. I enjoy helping future generations with their studies so that they are able to follow scientific interests too.
I have tutored science and maths on a one-to-one basis from Key Stage 3 to undergraduate level through private recommendations. I have also tutored small groups with The Brilliant Club and groups of varying sizes through the university.
I have a soft and gentle approach towards my students so that they feel comfortable asking any questions or sharing their concerns. I try to get to the root cause of confusion so that I can give students a clear and lasting understanding of each topic. I ask questions, breaking them down if necessary, so that students have a sense of success, which builds confidence.
