Hello! I am a recent Biomedical Science graduate from Newcastle University, attaining my Bachelors degree with Honors. I will be completing my MSc in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from University of Manchester in 2025, with aspirations of working in Stem Cells and Biomaterial Research, as a doctorate. I'm very passionate about my degree, and all things science, which translates into my teaching style!
I have extensive experience tutoring from KS3 all the way to A Level, specialising in Biology, Chemistry and English Literature. I ran a peer mentoring scheme in Sixth Form, tutoring other students while attaining A*AA in my A Levels. I enjoyed tutoring so much that I carried this on throughout my University Studies, as well as offering help with University applications, particularly personal statements for Medicine as I was accepted to Newcastle and Lancaster University for Medicine.
I am an enthusiastic teacher, tailoring my teaching approach to each individual student's strengths. Teaching requires a supportive and relaxed environment, where students feel comfortable to communicate what they struggle with and how to work on those areas for improvement. As a recent graduate, and working with students on a daily basis at my full time job, as well as tutoring for 4 years now, I am strongly equipped to be able to support my students so they can independently navigate the challenges of exam pressure, transitioning through school and entering higher education/ entering industry.
