Since graduating as the highest-graded undergraduate student from the University of Gloucestershire in 2009 in Multimedia with Computing, I have pursued a career in higher education as a senior lecturer in Computing Technologies. Outside of computers, I am a keen racket-sports player and a qualified tennis coach since 2011. I also enjoy travelling and discovering the history of the UK, Europe and Asia.
Currently with 10 years of experience in higher education, I am the Academic Course Leader at the University of Gloucestershire running a thriving course in Computing Technologies. I also lecture in the field of Computer Games Design / Programming.
I have industry experience as an eLearning courseware developer, media developer and mobile app. developer – developing for both iOS and Android platforms. I have also worked for Content Master delivering high quality training materials for various blue-chip companies, including Microsoft, IBM, Orange and T-Mobile.
I am experienced in a range of technical and creative skills which have enabled me to develop a varied portfolio using cutting-edge technologies. I also offer consultancy advice to local businesses, including robotics and web-based application solutions.
I employ a practical hands-on approach to learning using either MacOS or Windows. I provide custom and bespoke document worksheets for extended learning.
I teach with patience and understanding, carefully assessing and catering for all levels of learning. I adapt accordingly to the pace of the learner, helping to accomplish academic, personal or professional goals / projects.
