Hello, I am Zeatoon, a friendly and experienced tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience. I specialise in Maths, English, Grammar, Spelling, and Phonics for children aged 3 to 11. I hold a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am passionate about helping young learners thrive. I am a Phonics Lead across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, where I lead the development and delievery of high-quality phonics provision to support a wide range of learners and raise standards in reading.I am committed to fostering a supportive and motivating environment that empowers every child to achieve their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked across the full primary age range, supporting children of all abilities- from those needing extra help to those ready to be challenged further. I emphasise on building foundational skills, enhancing confidence, and promoting independent learning.My background in early education gives me a strong understanding of how children learn best.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are calm, and I adopt a patient, structured and personalised approach to tutoring. My lessons are carefuly tailored to address the strengths and challenges of each student. I focus on building confidence and strong subject foundations in a fun and supportive environment. Every child can suceed with the right encouragement and approach. I also ensure that parents are regularly informed about their child's progress and provide clear guidance on how they can support learning outside of our sessions.
