Hello, I have graduated from the University of Manchester with my PGCE in secondary maths and have a passion in helping students achieve. I am also a Loughborough University graduate in Maths and Sport Science and I am have my masters in performance analysis. Throughout my studies I have been able to learn using different methods which helps to tutor many different abilities and needs. I have always enjoyed sport and have played netball, hockey and athletics to a county standard. My love of maths developed during my GSCEs where I understood how vital calculations are to the real world. I also won the award at my high school for mathematical achievements.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in school as a maths teacher and a sports coach helping pupils succeed both academically socially and emotionally. I have tutored family members, friends and students at both GSCE level and A-level to ensure they achieved the grade they desire. I also have tutored from pre school age and all the way through primary and high school. I was also a maths leader in high school where local primary school students visited to improve their problem solving skills and a maths mentor at college to help fellow students. I have tutored from ages 3-19

Tutoring Approach

I am enthusiastic, approachable and friendly, which allows myself to tutor a range of students and cater to all abilities. I am very patient and punctual, believing everyone can achieve their dream grade with the correct attitude and work ethic. I have an ability to explain in many different ways to connect with my pupils. I feel as though if you know the pupil personally you can apply the correct method of teaching to help them enjoy the work therefore achieve more.
