I am currently working in a large secondary school in Manchester and have been a teacher of Geography for over 20 years and am therefore very experienced in the field of education. Additionally, I have been tutoring individual students for around 10 years at all levels (KS2-5). I make my lessons fun and accessible whilst using many different teaching styles and techniques to match individual needs. Having been an examiner for the AQA board for the past 4 years, I have much knowledge and experience as to how to answer exam questions effectively and how to gain maximum marks. I am also up to date with Geography specifications and exam style questions both at GCSE and A'level. I have much experience too with NEA coursework. Therefore, if you are struggling with Geographical concepts and ideas, want to gain confidence, achieve a grade needed for university or simply want to improve your exam performance I would be more than happy to help.

Tutoring Approach

As well as face to face tuition, I offer online lessons via Google Meet, Zoom or Facetime. I will set up the meeting and send you the link to log on at the appropriate time, where lessons will last an hour. Worksheets or exam questions can also be sent over during these sessions.
