I have recently retired, having had no lessons since schooldays and bumbled along in the little time I had playing the 'cello during my working life. I have now had 8 lessons and am thoroughly enjoying them. My skills are all over the place (started with Talulah at Grade 3 scales and Grade 8 piece!!). Yet Talulah has tailored her teaching and under her kindly encouragement I am pretty sure I am improving and I particularly welcome the direction she provides to my practice! But most important of all I am enjoying it and learning a lot!
