Tutoring Experience
I have worked as a tutor since 2010. I have taught in a variety of environments, including schools in Niger and Cambodia, corporate learning, targeted in-school SEN tuition as well as private one-to-one lessons.
I work regularly with students preparing for school entrance, from 7 to 16+ as well as university entrance and beyond.
I have extensive experience preparing students for entry to top schools.
I have experience teaching students with various special education needs including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD and chronic illness.
Tutoring Approach
I love identifying a student's individual needs and making sure that I help to address them. I aim to tackle the loss of confidence that often arises from poor teaching and unexpected or disappointing exam results. As well as straight teaching of the syllabus, I specialise in coaching exam technique, textual analysis and essay planning.
