I'm a Head of Geography and ecologist with a wealth of experience, particularly in Geography and environmental Sciences.
Have experience of teaching human and physical geography up to A-Level and experience of tutoring Physical Geography to university students.
I'm a sub-contractor for a number of ecological consultancies as well as teaching full-time. As a result I also have specialisms in teaching Ecology, GIS and report writing.
Exam boards I currently tutor include: AQA.
Manage Geography department in a secondary school for a number of years. Recently been awarded a national teaching award and leads geography education training for other teachers nationally.
I have designed the educational programmes for Birmingham Wildlife Trust and Action for Conservation and am in the process of designing a new secondary scheme for the Wildlife Trust.
My approach to tutoring is using my own pre-tested and reliable resources including up-to-date case studies to ensure the best marks.
I'm engaging and like to question tutees to ensure they have grasped a topic before moving on.
