Hi, I'm based in the lovely town of Hadleigh and have been teaching for 16 years with a brief gap when I deployed to Afghanistan with the Reserves, a challenging but rewarding time. I enjoy walking my dog Charlie and sci-fi movies!
I have both a BA and an MA in history from Kings College, London and am passionate about history. I have taught History and Religious Education for 16 years, working as a Head of Year and Senior teacher. I am also an examiner for OCR and team leader for Edexcel.
It is vital that students aren't spoon fed but are instead led to the answers by their tutor. That way the knowledge stays with them and they have ownership of it. I make my sessions tough and challenging but also interesting.
