I am a very enthusiastic, thought-provoking and logical individual. I am a Computer Vision Engineer with a Master's in Embedded Systems (Computer Vision) working in R&D.
While doing my Masters I was a teacher assistant for 3rd year Computer Science students covering their Programming, Advanced Database and Computer Vision modules.
In my spare time, I like to Scuba Dive, I am an assistant instructor and hold a BSAC Sports Diver qualification, every Friday I teach students how to safely Scuba Dive in the swimming pool.
I am highly passionate about what I do, as well as treating computing as a career I like to treat it as a hobby, I always have to have a mini-project on the side, might that be an autonomous robot or a game or just a mobile application.
I have developed many applications using C++, Java, C#.NET, and Matlab. In addition, I have a great deal of experience in developing dynamic websites using PHP, Javascript, JQuery etc. I have a keen interest in the Computer Vision and Machine Learning disciplines wherein my research lies.
I have been tutoring for over six years and have had excellent feedback, I have tutored a wide variety of students ranging from primary school to PhD level. I go by a tailored approach to suit the individual needs of each tutee. I specialise in tutoring the following programming languages C++, Java, MATLAB, C# and Python. As well as, the following topics Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Image/Video processing, Robotics, Computer Vision etc.
I like to ensure that my students understand the topic I have been teaching them, I always summarise each topic at the end of the lesson to ensure that the student has taken in everything, I understand the need of breaking down tasks especially when it comes to logic and problem solving to make it as easy as possible to understand complex concepts, hence, I always teach in a sequential and logical manner.
In regards to online tutoring, I like to use TeamViewer in conjunction with Skype.
